There are still some of my last trips that I haven’t shared but I should be able to do that very soon. I am actually planing to visit Australia, may be next year in its autumn. I’ve never been there before and would definitely fly in to Sydney first, then to Melbourne. If any of you have any suggestions, advices, please share your experiences. It would be good if you could recommend any hostels that near to the public transportation center. I would love both the city and the nature and I am sure that There are a lot to explore in Australia. Thanks in advance

It could happen to anyone that if you are traveling somewhere and want to extend your time to learn more about places, cultures, people etc., rushing out your time for in a lovely beauty city is such a hassle. So you might decide to find ways to extend your stay. Try to figure out how to in different context of different cities, different countries are what ought to be taken. If you have no concern or any problem with the visa, you are blessed. If not, you will need to find out how to extend your visa. The difficulties go differently in different countries. For example if you are in Thailand, or other South Eat Asian countries, you might find that it is not too difficult to find the visa run service from agencies. But if you are in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan or in Europe, processes and regulations of extending your visa could be found such a great deal (Of course not for those in the same EU countries). May be secure a list of Visa consultancy service will possibly help you out, with legally process in order for you to stay a way from night mare and peaceful in mind. If you are done with extending your tourist visa, next is to take advantage of your foot step exploring. What I mean is that you might find opportunities of finding a job along the path you step into around the city. Who knows, you may end up with a longer employment contract if chances are there and you performance was being recognized. Working abroad could have come crossed many travelers mind, including me. Lots of people are doing it and lots are still finding the way.

Teaching English or any other languages is also a good choice, and found that many people are following. I’ve met 2 British girls on the night bus while we were on the way back from Lijiang to Khunming, they were spending a month in China before heading to India to teach English for a year or two. A European guy I met in a budget hotel in Nikko, Japan is working as a front staff to make his livings. I believe that a lot of travel fellows experienced in working aboard and some are now planning for. Being a waiter and waitress in café’ restaurants is quite a fashion and found rather more challenging as that would allow you to meet up with a lot of different kinds of people. Also the street performances are quite huge for those posses performing and artist skills, they are found everywhere especially the tourist spots. I even asked myself, if I decided to stay longer in a place during my trip and street performance is only a choice, what would I to perform? Ha ha ha.

It would be great to hear from you travel fellows how you think of working aboard while traveling away from home. Come and share your findings and experiences.

After four days chilled out in Vienna, I took a train to a mall lovely city, Salzburg. With an hour an a half along beautiful scenery all the way of the quiet rail path on a week day, I felt rather humbled on my steps. Lots of nice people I met on the train helped me out from questions where and how I was supposed to go. I didn’t expect much for the trip and had only very slightest ideas on each city I went as I was hoping that I would only have just to visit and see how each places were like and took as they would have come. I was able to reach my hotel from the help of a very kind old lady being my companion from Linz heading to the same destination, Salzburg.

After checked in at late noon, I started exploring the city with a map I grabbed from the hotel. Heading towards the main street and tried to figure out where I was going. That was the fun part for sight seeing on foot along the trail. As previously mentioned in my blog about Praguehow counting on your step worked for city sight seeing, sometimes you will possibly ended up somewhere you have never expected to, simply saying that “ You’ve just got lost” ha ha …Anyways, getting lost was somehow like a trick to explore the hidden path. But if you’ve gone too far and felt unsecured, I wouldn’t encourage you to take that risk, let’s walk back, shall we? In Salzburg, I’ve never seen any places made me feel unsecured. What I’ve seen was people were living their easy lives with slow path along nice streets and greetings with nice neighbors and their visitors. I let a quiet evening went by slowly on my first day in Salzburg and enjoyed my dinner in a cool café “Indigo”

A breakfast at the hotel just made the morning like being home, but with different taste and view, and plus different sound. I took a bus at the quiet bus stop right in front of the hotel on a rainy day… I was told it was typical Salzburg in May that you may encounter with cloudy days and scattering rain. My one day bag with a water proof cover helped on my belonging unfortunately not myself, anyways, just some minutes from the hotel by bus with 2 euros, you can also buy a Salzburg Pass if you need a smooth path of all sort. I got off at a bus stop right in front of the Mozart Wohnhaus or A Birthplace of Mozart. This is the only thing what I’ve heard about this city as it was a home Mozart and also one of the reasons why I made my way to visit him, should I call him, Mozart, the world talent? It has become the museum of Mozart for people from all around the world to visit his home and the city has become a musical city from his heritage and the movie of The Sound of Music. The neighbors around this area have already been a tourist spot. There were lots of hotels, café, restaurants, fashion shops and chocolate for those Chocó lovers and as a lovely souvenir for someone home.

The opposite of the Mozart Wohnhaus was The Mirabell Palace Garden. From here, you would see the Salzburg Castle or Festung Hohensalzburg, or it was also called the Hohensalzburg Fortress standing shined on the top of the hill which would be my next spot to visit. I had a slow walked in this beautiful garden then heading to cross the Staatsbrucke Bridge . It was still raining so needed to rush to the other bank of the river which was called the Old Town. I was actually followed the crowds and yes, I was somewhere that I should be. Then I just realized that I entered into the tourists’ center started from the Alter Markt, then to Universitatplatz which how I envy to those students if they were really having classes here. Moving on to the Residenzplatz to visit the palace and a fountain. I moved further to the Domplatz and Franziskan Church and to Kapitelplatz (Chapter Square) Chocolate with Mozarts were everywhere I walked by.

A break with a cup of cappuccino and brownie was nice enough to deal with the weather and my laziness on a rainy day. Just let myself indulged with caffeine and watch people moving by out there outside the café, I could be here all day long if it didn’t stop raining. But nature knew I was there to enjoy the sight seeing and was kind enough to stop by 2 p.m. I had only few hours to go up to the Salzburg Castle so I needed to rush my way up there. It was a little trekking up to the hill but was really nice to be there. The pass to the Festung or the Castle was 7 Euros but you needed to walk up, but the traditional style cable car would take you up there if you hire the service with 10 euros. From the Castle, you will see the city how beautiful Salzburg with Salzach River flown from the alpine range through the city and the other side was the beautiful snow alpines beyond.

After coming down from the castle, I strolled along the old market again to a different small narrow streets here and there. I skipped the lunch so it was a good reason to escape the rain hidden inside a restaurant for my dinner. After dinner around 2.30 P.M. before heading back to the hotel, all the sudden, the sky just looked like this! The whole sky of the western captured all of my very pulses on its colorful and tenderly sweet utter up there. I wondered if that was a typical Salzburg as well. Hmmmm….

Next morning with a sunny day I had a nice walk back to the city, not a bus but a walking slowly and smell the morning air. It was a quiet morning and I stopped by at the flower market right in front of the church which I didn’t know the name. A pretzel Shop with lots of different pretzel style, I should have tried a huge giant one, but somehow I haven’t .Walking into a typical way how the people in Salzburg enjoy their spring. To me it was the way to let yourself hearing the locals express how enjoyable life was and shared with people around.

The Airport Link connecting downtown Bangkok and Suvarnabhumi airport began its first day of commercial services on Monday, with trains now running from 6am to midnight.

Transport Minister Sohpon Zarum said the Airport Link can carry up to 50,000 passengers a day, generating revenue of one million baht a day.

“I believe this rail link will help ease traffic, lower pollution and make it easier for the public,” Mr Sohpon said.

The Airport Link’s City Line will run every 15 minutes and the Express Line every 30 minutes. Both lines operate from 6am to midnight.

The trains have a maximum speed of 160 kilometres per hour.

The City Line will make eight stops across the capital, starting at Phaya Thai, before heading to the airport. The trains take 30 minutes from Phaya Thai to Suvarnabhumi. Passengers using the City Line pay a flat rate of 15 baht for a trip during the promotion period. Fares will range from 15 baht to 45 baht, depending on the distance travelled, after Jan 1, 2011.

The Express Line is a 15-minute non-stop journey between Makkasan and Suvarnabhumi and the fare is 100 baht per trip. However, the fare will be raised to 150 baht after the check-in system are fully set up at Makkasan station.

The Airport Link’s luggage service is not fully set up yet. The State Railway of Thailand expected it to be operational before the end of this year. People with many bags may have some difficulties during the check-in process.

The service has been operating on a trial basis since June 1, attracting about 17,000 people a day travelling for free.

The construction of the project began in June 2004, with the completion date set for May 2009 for launch in August 2009.

Several factors caused the long delay, including flood at the construction site, the State Railway of Thailand’s failure to deliver land to contractor and power supply problems.

For further information about Airport Rail Link service, call the State Railway of Thailand hotline at 1690.

Two hours and a half from Dresden by train was the best idea to allow myself enjoying the view along the rails path. From a home of Saxonian to Bohemian, the city where people from all around the world aimed to visit. I met with a girl on the train who helped me out with the transit train station, which was outside of the city to catch another train to the Main Station, or Hlavni Nadrazi where my last destination was. Without her, I would have ended up to Hungary (which was also interesting to visit though, but I didn’t plan for it). But yeah, I arrived to the main train station as supposed and took me a while to manage to match the direction in my brain. The tram no# 11 took me to my hotel or it would rather was called Pension as so its name was Pension Prague City in Praha 3 area, and yes, took me a little further a while to walk down a small hill like of the street into the residential area. I was then realized that I was pretty much, somehow a bit away from the tourism center, even not too far but anyways… I was there and thought it was rather a better idea for me to see the real way of daily life in a sense of a normal foot step of the people in Prague, even though just a glance from the window shade and along the street I walked by. It was obvious to me that there were so many grocery stores, food shops, Liquors, Bars and many other different shops were running by, ot the locals, but the Vietnamese group of people, and some of Chinese. The later was not a surprise to me as we were quite familiar with the Chinese doing their business everywhere around the world, but a little curious on the former. There must have been something in the past that tells us how things are at the present. May be they could have moved here prior the Velvet Revolution during the communism era. Yes, the history is always interesting, but unfortunately I had just a very short time in this world spot city and was hoping to find the answer sometimes from somewhere or somebody later, if I was lucky. And from my discovering, I had a nice Vietnamese dish for my first dinner in Prague, ha…

I explored the Bohemian city mostly by tram and counted on my feet to take me places to places. Simply just keep walking then I had ended up myself somewhere I was aiming to. I was and still being a super lazy kind of person but every time when I was on traveling, it couldn’t really help walking longer distance than my regular way as I just hated to look up into my city guide book .The alternative on my laziness was to ask the “how to go” from my hotel receptionist and found it was quite a faster way to catch. I spent my 2nd full day discovering the Old Town and around. It was just the beginning of spring in Europe and it seemed to me that everywhere I seemed to step into; I was already encountered with the crowded. Not a surprise as that was Prague. Discovering the city with beautifully unique of architecture. From the Gothic, Baroque, Renaissance, to the Art Nouveau are to be seen intensively all along the way. Narrow streets loaded with coffee shops, restaurants, music clubs, pups, bars, theaters, art galleries are all over the area. Countless of crystal shops were on every corners, they were gorgeous…

I’ve walked into Karlovas treet heading to the Charles Bridge and had encountered with thousands of visitors waiting in line to crossed over the Bridge. The crowds, including me moving slowly as there was a huge maintenance on one side of the bridge, and with only one side that kept the traffic moving. I gave up on that day and plan to come back cross over the bridge to the Prague Castle on next day. Escaped from people and found some space for myself to look around and beyond from where I was standing not far from the bridge entrance, The Prague Castle stood magnificently charm beyond the Vltava River. I was murmuring to myself “I’ll be visiting you tomorrow”.

I headed back to the Karlova Street and turned left to spending time in Old town along the evening again. Following the crowds to the historic Astronomical clocks as I didn’t stop to take a deep look at noon since I was expecting to come back soon, but when I walked back it seemed to be pretty late to get close to the huge clock, and would also have planed for this again on the next day as well as the Castle. Then I found myself in the middle of the Old Town Square, one of the most the busiest squares in the world with the rise up Gothic spires of the Church of Our Lady Before Tyn. What a beautiful landmark of the Prague Old Town. I Personally like the Gothic Style of Architecture on the way it goes rise up to the sky highly, sharply and spiky. This was Super to me. Hmmm. I had a nice dinner in Prague Old Town and not to forget to try their famous dark beer and found it was really good. The whole day made me one of the great full days in Prague.

I have started my third day walking from my pension all the way to the main train station and along to the Square Republiky where the Powder Tower was right on the corner. I was getting more familiar with directions on the third day and had discovered a short cuts to the Charles Bridge. From a commercial area through the old town I was then sooner reached the entrance of the Bridge. The Crowds was not too bad on that late morning and then I crossed over slowly on the Charles Bridge and found it was such a really nice walk on a cloudy day. As you may have known there are lots of artist with their art pieces and other souvenirs represented Prague. Finally I reached the Prague Castle and witnessed the St. Vitus Cathedral with my very eyes. I was stunned with its old, antique and magnificent ever in the world that I’ve ever seen. With its huge Cathedral with tall tower standing spiky and sharp, make me fall under the curiosity of how it was built.

I spent hours around the castle back to the Charles Bridge and to the old town to stop by at the Astronomical clocks again..And yes, no doubt that I encountered with people from all around the world, but this time I was able to get closer to the clocks. It was amazing to understand how they were functioning.

I had a break from a long walk with a cup of cappuccino in a lovely cafe’ while was on my way to Venceslas Square. Walking away from the very tourism spot into another small Bohemian streets was also nice and very impressive. Then I was on my way to the huge building with beautiful architecture of the National Museum. Unfortunately I didn’t go inside and walked over to the Opera House which was near by..and then I reached to the Main Train Station by no clue, ha! what a small world..I was then realized how the directions were connected. Actually it was not a small world and considered a long distance since I started walking. I couldn’t believe that I have walked that far..well, I was certain that the beauty of Prague, the charming of historical Castles, Cathedrals, the Gothic Church, The Barogue,Renaissance and the Nouveau arts. The narrow mosaic walking street and the long history of the whole Prague was definitely the reason.

I have walked into a department store today and had a browsed walking through until I found a travel accessories store, or just simply called a Travel Gears Shop. I almost walked into it But I had to stop as I realized that there are lots of items already at home and I get to use them only when I travel…well, may be once a year.

Many different bags are piling up in my closet which I do not know if those are such collections of mine and are going to be further useful travel gears for somebody. There are also maps of many countries, cities that I have visited. Even those international phone cards, bus, train, tram tickets, museums tickets, travel guides and souvenirs are there to remind me to my ever impressive times. It’s quite a lot of them but somehow I still keep those and place them on a very prestigious place, ha ha.. I love to name it nicely as I really like them. Back to the travels gear… I am just thinking that I might have to consider if I would need to use them again very soon or may be I’ll give some of them out to someone in the future ..may be give some away to those who need them.

Travel Gear are somehow imply something about its owner, several styles are designed to match well with the travelers different requirement and needs. No matter what styles you go traveling, luxury, family trip, trips with a group of friends, backpacking on your own. It’s just fun start thinking about what you would need to carry along with you when you are traveling. It would be nice if you have times to spend in the malls to have a look at them, but if not, may be travel gears from the Amazon would help to ease your time.

I went to San Francisco last May, wow! i found San Francisco such a cozy and lovely city to spend times there. I stayed at the hostel right just a block from the Union Square, and it was really convenience to go place to places, exploring the city by just walking on and on, up and down, by cable car, by train…this city was made real nice. There are lots of hotels, continental restaurants, coffee shops, galleries, shops and lots of stuff to see. I found May was a nice month to visit San Francisco..its chilling..and it could be rain sometimes during the day..but some days, you can enjoy the sun and enjoy walking along the Fisherman’s Wharf . Don’t miss to try the cram showder at the Fisherman’s Wharf and visit the Pier 39 to see those lovey lazy seals.

The Golden Gate was stunning! it really is all about San Francisco, don’t you think?

The cable car cost $ 5 for each trip regardless the distance, if you don’t want to walk up and down the hills( just my thought as it goes up and down), you can take the cable car from the Powell Street where the Union Square is, to the Fisherman’s Wharf and only enjoy the ride and sight seeing. There are 2 major routes of the service, you can check out more at http://www.sfcablecar.com/routes.html

My friend drove me to the Lombard street, the amazing street to me on how it was designed….Those residents were still driving down all day long and it was one of an interesting place to me in SF though.

If you still have times in the city you might find walking in The Golden Gate Park along the coast and walk up to the Golden Gate Bridge in late morning is also nice and I would recommend you to. You can take a bus there actually and enjoy a cup of coffee after a nice walk is really cool.

Visiting San Francisco Botanic Garden at noon is also an enjoyable thing to do during your time there and have a nice coffee at any of the coffee shops nearby the Botanic garden is also relaxing before heading back to the city by the BART train.

The Alcrataz Tour is also an interesting activity during a chilling day when you are in San Francisco. Visit this website http://www.alcatrazcruises.com/may help you out for the info. I didn’t do that though but my freind told me that it is worth to visit.

I spent almost a week there, but still needed more time to feel this city, I wish I could go back visit this cozy city again soon.

Every time that I set myself off traveling. Lots of people I know, or those who know me often ask me “You must be rich that you got to travel that often, aren’t you?”. Well, not to deny that you need to have some amount of money to travel. But the fact is..no, my dear I’m not rich, I don’t have much money, I’m struggling and trying to be a good employee only to get paid at the end of the month. And from that daily life, the top of my goal is that I only want to see the world. Yeah..I’m telling you that, sometimes traveling far doesn’t neccessary costs so much, but that depends on each individual though… And if you’re lucky. If you’re traveling into places that you have people you know, your friends, your relatives or anyone to help you. Or support you. You may be spending less on your trips.

But if you’re not traveling to places where you’ll have such support and the point is you don’t want to see them, you don’t want to meet them by the time. And you just want to see something different. If you don’t have a lot of money, I mean..you feel that you can’t afford to, but somehow you still want to explore the world. Don’t give up, that’s not the point at all to stop you from exploring the world. It’s been years that millions of people traveling on bugeted, they go backpack, they fly with cheap air ticket, they stay at the hostels or cheap hotels, they plan to go and see the world by thier own, they spend times on things and places they want to see and learn from this amazing planet. There’re a lot of deals these days that would help you find easier ways to travel as far as you want and make your dream comes true. Step out there and meet the world!

Traveling into so many different places around the world, one trick to discover the path that you’re targetting at is to ask the local, don’t you agree? I always expose lots of information on what to see,how to go and what to be aware of from people I’ve met along the way…some of them even have become my friends until today. A lady with her bike walked me back to the hostel, when I got lost in Tokyo. An old lady was a good company on the train from Vienna to Salzburg and when we got off from the train, she even walked me to the bridge where I had to cross over to the street that supposed to lead me to the hotel that I’ve booked. My roommate at a hostel in Shanghai shared with me where to visit and how to get to places. A girl I met on my way while I was trying to find the way back to my hostel shown me the way back to The Union Square when I wandered away to the ferry port in San Francisco, she shown me the short cut instead of me going along way back taking the same route. Lots of impressions I had from those lovely locals that I believe allowed me to learn their culture as well. That’s the good of opening your mind, opening your eyes and opening your heart to the world.

Keep travelling!
